Conveniently Located Facility for Short and Long Term Care Needs
Bermuda Commons provides a complete continuum of care including short term rehabilitation, long term care, and out-patient therapy. The facility is located in a serene country setting that is easily accessible from Interstate 40.
Our professional and compassionate staff offers care and activities that are based on the individual interests and needs of patients. Following admission, a patient undergoes assessments within twenty-four hours from recreation, nutrition, nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy. Based on these assessments, a plan including our state of the art rehabilitation services is developed in conjunction with the patient and their family. The overall plan is overseen by an attending physician and sees patients as often as clinically necessary.
Enhanced therapy services at Bermuda Commons includes diathermy, that assists with decreasing pain, e-stimulation to support improved joint movement and muscle strength and vital stimulation that promotes better swallowing. When a patient is engaged in these enhanced services, they have a more positive experience during their regular therapy sessions.
